Resolved Question: Is it easier living in Orlando, Fl v.s Lowell, Ma?

I'm planning on moving but every one keeps telling me it would be a mistake because Orlando costs so much more to live down there. But Lowell isn't cheap living either. I know they try to pay less because the differences in minimum wage, but i'm not being paid min here, so there is the wonder whether or not they'll want to give me a decrease or something. but as a trade off i've already been researching and found quite a few apartments that a lot less down there than up here, plus there isnt a dire need for heating other than the hot water.
